A quote from Charlie Frye after yesterdays embarassement.
Obviously??? Obviously??? Come on Frye, you have been given the starting position for a Professional Football team and your only response is that you have to do better? Charlie Frye has shown us that he is not the one to lead the Cleveland Browns in the future.
I realized the game was over when the first punt only went 15 yards and then was followed with 4 penalties that placed the Steelers in great position to make an early statement. This is not what the Browns fans were expecting coming into this season. It just goes to show that there is still a lot of work that needs to be done and it will have to result in letting some people go. I personally think one of their first mistakes was letting go of Ken Dorsey. I think he could of been an excellent back-up QB to Brady Quinn next year.
So the Browns look horrible with only 221 of Offensive yards compared to the Steelers 365. You can’t expect to go anywhere when you only rush for 46 yards, which 35 of those were Jamal Lewis (yes, that Jamal Lewis).

You should have just said, “I should be cut, obviously”….
As a bengals fan, its painful to watch the Browns struggle like they did on Sunday because it brings back so many bad memories of the 90’s and beyond for us. Leadership and a plan is what changed our fortunes starting with hiring Marvin and drafting Carson. I think Quinn will be a good NFL QB but IMO, you need a coach with a clue and a plan. Romeo looks out of his league on the sidelines. What’s the street impression of Romeo in Cleveland? Is he the man to lead you to the next step or our version of Bruce Coslett?
