It was a fight down to the wire, and Lane Kiffin gets his first NFL win against the Browns. The sad thing is, he won the exact same way he lost last week against the Denver Broncos. He is a fast learner.
This would of been first time the Browns would of won back to back games since 2003. I like the fact that the Browns are starting to show some heart. They aren’t giving up, and they are pressing onward and hopefully developing some respect from other teams in the NFL. Hopefully.
The Raiders won on the old “icing the kicker” method. Waiting until right before the snap to call a time out. Calling it so close to the snap that the play goes off even though it will not count. Phil Dawson, who is by far one of the most consistent kickers in the NFL, splits the uprights…but it doesn’t count. Talk about a let down.
The Browns still have a long way to go, their offense is showing life but the defense still needs to step it up.
